Official Design Vote

The European Commission held a public vote on its website from 31 January to 22 February 2008 to select the design for the joint commemorative issue marking 10 years of the euro. A shortlist had been drawn up by the mint directors from submissions received through a competition among euro-area mints. The winning design was announced on 25 February. Each participant was also able to
