The themes of Slovakia's 2-euro commemorative coins for 2028 through 2030 have been announced.
The first coin for 2028 is dedicated to the "80th Anniversary of the Lúčnica Artistic Ensemble". The obverse will feature the design alongside the country name "SLOVENSKO" and the issue year "2028". The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. The coin is expected to be issued in a mintage of approximately 1 million pieces, including 5,000 in a proof case.
The second coin for 2028 is dedicated to the "700th Anniversary of the Kremnica Mint". The obverse will feature the design alongside "SLOVENSKO" and "2028". The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. Mintage is expected at approximately 1 million pieces, including 5,000 in a proof case.
