2-euro coins 2024 – background & themes of the year
The 2024 vintage comprises 35 2-euro coins, all commemorative. There's no shared European theme coin this year, but the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games shape the vintage across several issues – alongside France's own coin, Portugal also releases a coin for the Games. Anyone searching for 2-euro coins 2024 will find a sports-themed year.
Germany appears with two issues in 2024: the Bundesländer series honours Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, while a separate coin marks the 175th anniversary of the 1848 Paulskirche constitution. Both count among the regular German 2-euro commemorative coins 2024.
