The theme of Slovakia's second 2-euro commemorative coin for 2026 has been announced today. The theme is: "50th Anniversary of the Czechoslovak Football Team's Victory at UEFA Euro 1976." The obverse will display, alongside the design, the issuing country "SLOVENSKO" and the year of issue "2026." The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. The coin is expected to be issued with a mintage of approximately 1 million pieces, including 5,000 in a proof presentation case.
