The theme of Spain's 2026 2-euro commemorative coin has been announced today. The 17th coin in the "UNESCO World Heritage" series features the theme "Poblet Monastery." The obverse is expected to depict a view of the Monestir de Santa Maria de Poblet. Along the edge, the commemorative occasion, the mint mark of the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre Real Casa de la Moneda – the crowned "M" – as well as the issuing country "ESPAÑA" and the year "2026" will be shown. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag.
