Sebastian Richter has been with zwei-euro.com from the very beginning. When the first 2-euro commemorative coins appeared in 2004, he was there from the start – together with Florian Dyballa, who launched the site in August 2004. What began as a private information project grew over time into the Richter & Dyballa publishing company, which the two founded together and which still publishes zwei-euro.com today.
As editor-in-chief, he is responsible for the site's editorial direction. He is co-author of the first comprehensive 2-euro coin catalogue – a standard reference that sold tens of thousands of copies – and has since published several books on the subject.
Through his long-standing contacts with European mints and ministries, the editorial team receives much of its information first-hand. For more than 20 years, Sebastian Richter has been an established voice in the field of 2-euro coins.
