The Croatian National Bank has published the design for Croatia's second 2-euro commemorative coin of 2025. The second coin in the "Croatian Cities" series is dedicated to "City of Pula – Arena". The obverse depicts the Pula Arena, the amphitheatre that ranks among the most significant ancient monuments in the Republic of Croatia. A symbolic view of the Adriatic Sea appears below the main design, underscoring Croatia's Mediterranean character. To the right of the design, the Church of St Anthony, built in the 1930s and part of the city's panorama, is depicted. The commemorative inscription and country details run along the rim: "GRAD PULA – ARENA" across the top and "HRVATSKA 2025." along the bottom. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. Designed by Duje Botteri, the coin is scheduled for issue on 24 October in a mintage of 200,000 pieces, including 5,000 BU coincards and 5,000 proof cases.
