The design for France's second 2025 2-euro commemorative coin has been published on social media*. The theme is "Notre Dame". The obverse features a central view of the façade of Notre-Dame de Paris as seen from the forecourt. The great rose window is visible in the background between the two towers. On the left, the issue year "2025", the monogram "RF", and the mint marks of the Monnaie de Paris and Chief Engraver Joaquin Jimenez are shown. The commemorative inscription appears on the right. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. Designed by Joaquin Jimenez, the coin is expected to be released on 28 October in a total mintage of 20 million pieces.
