Finland Announces Themes for Both 2-Euro Commemorative Coins 2026: "100 Years of Finnish Broadcasting Yleisradio" and "Raili and Reima Pietilä"

The themes for both Finnish 2-euro commemorative coins for 2026 have been announced in Finland's 2026 issue programme.

The first coin's theme is "100 Years of Finnish Broadcasting Yleisradio." The obverse will feature the year "2026," the country code "FI," the Finnish mint mark, and the commemorative inscription in both Finnish and Swedish alongside the main design. The twelve stars of the European flag will appear on the outer ring. The coin is planned for May 2026 with a mintage yet to be announced.

The second coin's theme is "Raili and Reima Pietilä." The obverse will feature the year "2026," the country code "FI," the Finnish mint mark, and the commemorative inscription in both Finnish and Swedish alongside the main design. The twelve stars of the European flag will appear on the outer ring. The coin is planned for August 2026 with a mintage yet to be announced.
