The Helsinki Mint has issued Finland's second 2-euro commemorative coin of 2025. The theme is "100 Years of the Finland–Sweden Athletics Match". The obverse depicts two legs in motion alongside curved dashed lines representing a running track. The design commemorates the centenary of the Finland–Sweden Athletics Championship, honouring both Finnish sporting tradition and the event's spirit of community. The year "2025" is shown horizontally along the upper rim. The Caduceus mint mark of the Dutch Mint is positioned to the left of the design, with the country code "FI" on the right. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. Designed by Pertti Mäkinen, the coin has a mintage of 205,000 pieces, including 62,500 Finnish/Swedish-language BU coincards, 62,500 English-language BU coincards and 5,000 proof cases.
