Lithuania Announces Themes for 2-Euro Commemorative Coins 2027: "The City of Klaipėda" and "100 Years of the Concordat between Lithuania and the Holy See"

The themes for Lithuania's 2-euro commemorative coins for 2027 have been announced.

The first coin's theme is "The City of Klaipėda." The obverse will feature the issuing state "LIETUVA" and the year "2027" alongside the main design. The twelve stars of the European flag will appear on the outer ring. The coin is planned for Q3 2027 with an expected mintage of approximately 1 million, including 5,000 in BU coincard.

The second coin's theme is "100 Years of the Concordat between Lithuania and the Holy See." The obverse will feature the issuing state "LIETUVA" and the year "2027" alongside the main design.
