The Monnaie de Paris also presented the struck specimen of its second 2-euro commemorative coin for 2025 at its stand at the World Money Fair in Berlin today, and the coin was officially issued in BU coincards. The theme is "Louvre Museum." The obverse depicts the facade of the Louvre from the east side, combined with the emblematic floor plan of the museum's labyrinthine spaces. In the background, the pyramid tip and the structure of the Grand Pyramid evoke the Louvre's blend of tradition and contemporary architecture. The year "2025" is set to the left, the monogram "RF" upper left, and the mint marks of the French mint and chief engraver Joaquin Jimenez are incorporated into the museum floor plan. The coin, designed by Joaquin Jimenez, is issued with a total mintage of 315,000 pieces, including 75,000 in each of four differently designed BU coincards, plus 10,000 in a proof presentation case and 5,000 in reverse proof.
