2-euro common sides
Unlike the national obverse, the common side is the same on every 2-euro coin – it bears the numeral, the word "EURO" and the twelve EU stars. Only once, in 2007, was its map motif changed: from the EU of fifteen states to the map of the entire continent. Both common sides in detail:
