Slovakia Announces Themes for Both 2027 2-Euro Commemorative Coins: Charter 77 and the Ratio Educationis

The themes for Slovakia's two 2027 2-euro commemorative coins have been announced.

The first coin is dedicated to the "50th Anniversary of Charter 77". The obverse will feature the design alongside the country name "SLOVENSKO" and the issue year "2027". The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. The coin is expected to be issued in January in a mintage of approximately 1 million pieces, including 5,000 in a proof case.

The second coin is dedicated to the "250th Anniversary of the Ratio Educationis". The obverse will feature the design alongside the country name "SLOVENSKO" and the issue year "2027". The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. The coin is expected to be issued in August in a mintage of approximately 1 million pieces, including 5,000 in a proof case.
