The themes of both Finnish 2-euro commemorative coins for 2025 were announced today as part of Finland's 2025 issue programme.
The theme of the first coin is "State Visits of Finland – Diplomacy and Foreign Policy." The obverse will feature, alongside the design, the year "2025," the country code "FI," the mint mark of the Finnish mint, and the commemorative inscription in both Finnish and Swedish. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. The coin is scheduled for May 2025 with a mintage yet to be announced.
The theme of the second coin is "100 Years of the Finland–Sweden Athletics Championships." The obverse will feature, alongside the design, the year "2025," the country code "FI," the mint mark of the Finnish mint, and the commemorative inscription in both Finnish and Swedish. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag. The coin is scheduled for autumn 2025 with a mintage yet to be announced.
