About the series
From 2016 to 2021, Malta paid tribute to the Neolithic temple complexes of the islands with the "Prehistoric Sites" series — including several UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Ħaġar Qim, Mnajdra and Ġgantija. These rank among the oldest freestanding structures in the world.
