About the series
Since 2025, Germany has been issuing a multi-year series on the motto "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit" (Unity and Justice and Freedom), in parallel with the second Federal States Series. The issues honour prominent German politicians. Like all German 2-euro commemorative coins, they are struck at all five mints.
